Condition: print cut to border and mounted on a collectors sheet Glue stain bottom right and top middle with slight abrasion ( on cornice in room)
Further Information: This engraving was the frontispiece to 'Three Letters on the subject of the Marine Society' , Jonas Hanway ( founder of the charitable Marine Society in 1756 ) . The society turned waifs, strays and beggars into apprentice seamen.
